About Me

“游鱼在釜戏菱花，处堂燕雀安颓厦”是梁启超《新中国未来记》里的句子。 我在杭州岳王庙时，见一处偏院堂前有池养着几尾圆滚滚的鲤鱼，池中心有几簇荷花，鱼向花前邀戏。时逢微雨，雨滴落于水面点起涟漪，鱼在水下，似浑然不觉。旧时大户人家堂前常置水釜以备火患，静水无趣，置两尾鱼一只花，闲静的院落就陡然生动起来。江南多雨，细雨落在釜中，激起同心圆的波纹，荡开又荡不远，新的雨滴随即在别处激起新的涟漪，设若鱼从水下看去，或只觉得天面波动？至于今日，人去楼空，往来游客频频，却只有游鱼是此间江南烟雨、庭院深深的主人。游鱼、菱花、水釜，不识那往来行人，不知那釜外院外的广阔天地。千百年的光阴和人，在烟雨楼台间静默的水釜面前，不过是“倏忽”而已。 燕雀结巢梁上，亦是如此，无论广厦煊赫，或是人去楼空堂屋倾圮，燕雀只安然梁上巢中而已。 于今之人亦然，人世或日新月异，此间只为记录“倏忽”的灵感与光景。

About the Author

Siyi Zhao is a PhD student in the Department of Astronomy, Tsinghua University.

As for research interests, she is extermly curious about how does our Universe originate. So she works on the observational test on cosmic inflation and alternative theories.

As for personal interests, she likes history, especially history of ancient China. She sometimes writes historical novels as enjoyments, and some of them are shown here.
